Suicide is the third-leading cause of death among teenagers and students aged 15-24 in the U.S. While the cause of suicide and suicide attempts in this group is often complex and may be multi-faceted, statistics indicate that the stress, confusion, and self-doubt that accompanies adolescence often contributes to the risk of suicide in this demographic.
